The One True and Living God God is three distinct Persons, namely: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 14:16-17 He is One and yet, three Persons. "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD." Deuteronomy 6:4 Not gods, but one God. He is the one and only true God. No man on earth can ever understand the Divine Godhead fully, nor has the Lord God revealed anything more than what is in the Divinely inspired Scriptures. The Holy Scriptures We believe that the Word of God (the Holy Bible) is the sole authority for our lives and that all experiences and prophecies etc., must be checked against the Scriptures for validity. It is inerrant as the Holy Spirit communicated the Word to and through the holy prophets and apostles. 2 Peter 1:19-21; 2 Timothy 3:16 Creation, Fall, and Redemption Plan for Mankind We believe that man, though created in the image of God, sinned against Him and became alienated from Him, having been cursed for his rebellion against God. The Lord Jesus Christ was sent to earth as a man (became 100% man, born of a virgin named Mary, yet remained 100% God) to die for the sins of the whole world as the sinless, God-man. We are saved by His precious Blood if we believe in Him i.e., in His death on our behalf so that we can be saved from the wrath of God and by His Blood washing away our sins, making us new creatures in Him. The Holy Spirit "regenerates" us in this process of making us a "new man." Jesus Christ rose from the grave on the third day and His (physical) resurrection guarantees our resurrection to Eternal Life, if we believe in Him and show that genuine faith by our obedience to His Holy Word to the very end. Genesis 1-3; Matthew 1; John 3:16; 2 Corinthians 5:17; John 6:39, 40; John 15 Holy Living We believe in living a separated life from the world and all evil and sin as God has commanded, "Be ye holy, for I am Holy ..." We are in this world, but not of this world. We are commanded to do whatever is necessary to, "cut off" evil from our lives (crucifying the flesh with its affections and lusts by the power of the Holy Spirit) and live godly before the Lord in absolute honor of His Holy Name. 1 Peter 1:15, 16; Galatians 2:20; 5:24, 26; John 15:19 Every believer is called to evangelize the lost in order to reach the world for Christ. We believe in visiting the sick, orphans, widows, and those in prison with the gospel as well as assisting the needy with material goods. Matthew 22:37-40; 1 Corinthians 13; Matthew 25:31-46; 28:19, 20; James 1:27; 2:14-16 The Waters of Baptism We believe that in obedience to the command of Christ, the new believer must be water (by immersion as the Scriptural mode) baptized as an evidence to the world that he/she has died to the world and sin. One identifies with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. A believer is given grace in identifying with Him in His Resurrection to live a new life in Him. Infant or child baptism or baptism of a person not born again is unscriptural and meaningless tradition/error, clearly contradicting Biblical truth. It is good and proper, however, to hold a child dedication service unto the Lord in thanksgiving, in seeking His blessing upon the child's life, as the parents take a solemn vow to raise the offspring in the ways of the Lord. Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; 8:36-39; 1 Peter 3:21 The Baptism of the Holy Spirit There is a secondary blessing to salvation which is called the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and with Fire (as promised by Jesus). This is to be sought after in obedience to His Word as He has promised to fill us with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit gives us power to witness and live the Christian life boldly as our whole life is purged continually (purified) when we continue to obey Him more and more. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the speaking of other tongues. Luke 11:13; Acts 2:1-18; 2:38-39; 19:1-6 The Fruit of the Spirit According to Galatians 5:22-23, there are certain evidences of the working of the Holy Spirit in the believer's life. For those who truly choose to abide in the Vine, Jesus Christ, through a life of continued obedience to His commandments, “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance" The Gifts of the Holy Spirit We believe in all the gifts of the Spirit, the supernatural (i.e. gift of healing the sick, working of miracles, etc. and the "not so spectacular", but no less important (exhortation, showing mercy, etc.) and that God has called each person in the Body of Christ (all believers) to seek Him for certain gifts and to exercise them in faith while, desiring to grow in greater manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit as well Romans 12:4-8; 1 Corinthians 12; 1 Corinthians 14; Ephesians 4:8-13
The Rapture and the Great Tribulation We believe in the Rapture of the saints who are prepared to meet Him in the air. The seven-year tribulation after the Rapture of the Faithful will mark the most cataclysmic and horrible time the world has ever known. Those believers not ready and unbelievers will be on earth at this time. There will also be specially chosen, 144,000 holy people (from the tribes of Israel) for special evangelization under orders from God as well as the "two witnesses" sent from God. The Antichrist and the False Prophet will blaspheme God and severely afflict people (who don’t take the mark of the beast) with power from the devil. Those who take the mark (on the right hand or forehead) will be cast into Hell with the Devil, Antichrist, False Prophet, Devil’s angels, and all unbelievers already in Hell. We believe in the physical return of Jesus on the earth which is the Second Coming when He will bring peace for a 1000 years ruling with His saints. Armageddon will be the final battle in the world, when the devil will be let loose (after having been chained for the millennium period). 1 Corinthians 15:51-54; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; Book of Revelation The Final Destruction of Satan and Evil We believe in the final destruction of the devil that will burn forever in the lake of fire and the eradication of all evil following this final battle. We believe in the Final Judgment at the close of time. We believe in the physical resurrection of both the saved and unsaved. Revelation 20-22 The Future of Redeemed and Lost Souls We believe in a literal, everlasting Heaven and Hell. We believe in a personal devil that is at work to destroy God’s plan for our lives, but who will not succeed so long as we are under the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and obedient to the Lord. We believe in Everlasting Life continuing in a new Heaven (as there will also be a new earth, the old heaven and earth having passed away) for those who are saved or born again by the Blood of Jesus (the only way to become a true Christian) and are walking with Him when He calls them from this life on earth and takes them to Heaven. We believe in everlasting torment in the lake of fire for the unbeliever which he/she will share with the devil and his angels. For the believer inhabiting specially prepared mansions (rooms) in the Father's House, there will be Eternal Joy in unceasing worship of God and the Lamb (Jesus Christ) and untold holy activities prepared beforehand by our Loving God, spending all eternity in the Presence of God Almighty!
