Nursing Homes and Rehabilitation Centers (Age group: 50’s to beyond 100 yrs. of age.) We have a deep burden to go and share the love of Jesus in places where most people do not go and where there is little or no recognition or acknowledgment for services. These are the desperate, lonely, and neglected people in institutions, who are often abandoned to spend their last years and days in pain and misery without the personal touch of a caring visitor. More importantly, without any television or radio or computer access, they do not even have any opportunity to hear about the great hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Even in cases where media access is offered, many are so severely incapacitated physically, that they not able to make use of it. In Highland Rehabilitation Center - Middletown, NY, Schervier Pavillion - Warwick, NY and St. Joseph’s Place - Port Jervis, NY, the Lord has blessed the services we conduct to save and heal many as we praise and worship through songs, music, prayer, and the Word. Quite a number of patients and staff from varied personal and professional backgrounds have personally testified of the marvelous work of grace done in their lives as a result of our sharing the gospel with them. Where the atmosphere was once dead and gloomy, there are now church services, now participants eagerly look forward to joining in the worship using tambourines and maracas along with us. In addition to the weekly services that we conduct for these dear ones on Saturdays, we have also had the great privilege of visiting people on their deathbeds and those who have been given up for dead in leading them to salvation. Kindly continue to uphold this ministry in your prayers.
Homeless Rescue Missions (Age group: 20’s to 70’s) We conduct chapel service at all the men and women's centers of the Bowery Mission and also minister at the NYC Rescue Mission, monthly to reach the destitute and lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Many receive the teaching and join in worship of our Savior as we lead them with our preaching and music usually in the noon hour. We have had the joy of seeing people in these missions respond to invitations to receive Jesus Christ. We also give clothing to keep warm during the winter season to these dear ones. To bring the Gospel to the families who suddenly find themselves homeless, ELBIM ministers in song, scripture, drama and share God's Word to the destitute and the needy at HONOR EHG in Middletown NY, a New York state-run homeless shelter. Please pray that God would continue to minister to the people.
We have had the privilege to minister at the other largest and oldest rescue missions in the United States: Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, CA, San Diego Rescue Mission, CA, Las Vegas Rescue Mission in Nevada, and The Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago, IL with the gospel at their Bible Study and Chapel service respectively. We praise God for all the souls that He has touched during these gatherings and services. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” 2 Peter 2:10
Ministry to Substance, Sexual, and Violence Abuse Victims/Former Abusers
(Age group: Teens to 60’s) It is a great joy to see men and women of all ages get ignited with the love and zeal for God during the chapel services we conduct at various faith-based institutions such as Teen Challenge and Walter Hoving Home in more than 25 states of the US. Often, we have heard from the pastor/directors that the Lord revealed many hearts and spoke to all during the message and worship time. We have received testimonies of God healing physical and mental impairments as well. We also minister at Crossroads Recovery INC. in New Haven, CT which is a secular rehabilitation center, where God has marvelously saved, delivered and healed many men and women with various addictions. Ministry in the Churches
“Thou hast magnified Thy Word above all Name.” – Psalm 138:2b The Lord has helped us to strengthen the believers by sharing the Word of God in different churches across various denominations in the United States, India, and Canada. We have seen the Lord move in a powerful way during the church services, drawing the people to a deeper level of commitment to Jesus Christ. “And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” Mark 16:20
Prayer Ministry We very strongly believe that a ministry’s foundation should be laid on the sound doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ and fervent prayer. ELBIM believes in the power of fasting prayer for spiritual breakthroughs concerning all needs, both for the ministry operations and for requests sent in by our listeners/viewers. Hence, we have a prayer team that dedicates itself to that end. We have seen the Lord move in a powerful way during our team fasting prayer. All glory to God alone!
