The King's TableA Ministry to the Assisted Living
The King’s Table exists to bring the love, comfort, and presence of Jesus Christ to seniors and residents in assisted living facilities. Through fellowship, worship, prayer, and the sharing of God’s Word, this ministry uplifts hearts, restores hope, and reminds every individual of their value in God’s Kingdom. Our team visits The Eliot Erie Station Assisted Living Facility and Promenade Senior Living Facility, bringing encouraging Scriptures and spiritual teaching tailored to the needs of the residents. On Saturdays, they lead the residents in worship, pray for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, and provide personal conversations when needed. They also read a portion of the Cate for Kids devotional to the residents, and they are tremendously blessed by it, enjoying the encouragement and wisdom shared from God’s Word through the devotional written by Esther Stephen. Residents are also engaged in small group activities based on the theme from God’s Word for that day, designed to reflect Christ’s love. In addition, we hold Satellite Church Services on Sundays, bringing full church services directly to the residents. God is moving powerfully during these services, drawing residents closer to Jesus Christ. Our team goes each week with much prayer, and the residents eagerly look forward to the worship, fellowship, and teaching provided. Through The King’s Table ministry, seniors receive not only spiritual nourishment but also emotional and social support, leaving them encouraged, strengthened, and reminded of God’s faithfulness and care. |
